Tracee Ellis Ross:

Ms. Tracee Ellis Ross is a fashion staple who encompasses the cultural African diaspora. I would even consider her a fashion icon. I love what she stands for as an African North American woman.

Tracee really plays on her aesthetics whether it be natural plants, natural lighting or color schemes. She is the queen of working with colors that are complimentary. She really knows how to work with her pastels and bold striking colors.

Aesthetically, she combines her cultural hairstyles with that of chic desirable outfits. These styles not only represent the culture, it also pays homage to those that were once here.

Lastly, her role on the family sitcom, “Black-ish,” also reveals a plethora of crazy, cool and spunky fashion senses that speak to many different societal groups: Mothers, Wives, Mid-aged and, African American women.

Yara Shahidi is the epitome of “Diversity” within the fashion industry. I love her desire to embody her African American roots but also introduce her Middle Eastern side. I think, in a time where the world is currently Islamophobic, Yara makes it known to her wider audience by educating them on her upbringing and negating the current stigmas around the culture.

Yara is an up-and-coming artist, all around, that is continuing to break down barriers everyday within the industry. She is also a force to be reckoned with and is undeniably an inspiration for the newer generations and myself. Inspiring older generations such as I, means you are impacting the world and doing something right within all artistic realms.

I fell more in love with Yara in her role in the television series,
“Grown-ish”. Her wardrobe is exceptional; she is literal styling goals and she plays the role of a stylist, so clearly, I am bias. I love everything about her looks from top to bottom.

I think Willow Smith is a very underrated fashion symbol. Most people do not know this about me, but my favorite fashion genre is Afropunk-rock. Willow represents the exact image of that type of style. She is so unique and stays in tuned with herself when expressing herself. She is such a talented individual and reveals a piece of who she is through her style, music and social media presence.

I love her constant references to spirituality via her social media. She does a great job with showcasing her spirituality through her style and article talents. She is infamous for always referencing the third eye through her drawings, make-up, and images. This also shows her alienated astronomy side. I love her weirdness and I can relate to it in so many ways. Who wants to be normal?

I love that Jhene is a beautiful soul and a person who I can clearly tell is in-tuned with her emotions. As an Aquarius, I am a person who can relate to her; I am very in-tuned with my emotions.

Jhene is one that expresses her creativity through her musical lyrics and
styles. She is one of the top creatives within the music industry. I have gained so much knowledge from her whether it be emotional intelligence or corky, strange garments.

Jhene is one that reveals to her audience her roots stemming back to Asian, European and African descent. She is one that is blunt and never fits in into societal norms. I love how she breaks down barriers for women like her within the industry. I love her bravery, authenticity and originality she gives out to the rest of the world.

Widely recognized as Richie Rich on social media, Jermaine Richards! As soon as I came across Mr. Richie Rich, I immediately associated him with the Richie Rich Movie. Throughout the film, Richard “Richie” Rich Jr. is the world’s richest kid, the son of billionaire businessman and philanthropist; Jermaine embodies the essence of the movie. His suits, rich in material and quality, are one of a kind and unmatched. In addition, his street wear is one that is hard to challenge.

I love his fearless and daring style compilations; you never know what is up his sleeve. He keeps his audience engaged and in suspense while waiting for his next genius idea. He represents for all men with his body type, skin complexion, geographical location and artistic talents. I cannot wait to see what he has in store for the next coming years within the fashion industry.

Mario Reed has established himself a unique niche within the fashion industry. Mr. Reed, they call him, has a keen eye for collaborates with patterns and colors. In addition, he incorporates his Civil Engineering degree within his craft whether it be the construction work sites he comes
across, designing garments, or editing and taking photographs. He shows true comfortability within one’s skin, color coordination and most importantly swag.

Mario is a jack of all trades; what is next? Mario is a risktaker when comes to the industry. He would be the one to make a trash bag look good and wear it in a unique way. He is an artist I would release full creative control to picking me out an outfit. If you know me, that is very rare for me
to say. I am telling you, you can trust him with your fashion life.

Omar Parkman is an artist who has drastically shown tremendous growth within the fashion industry. I mean clearly, it’s the beard, right? Not only has he shown true gratitude towards his fans, you see him always being open and honest via his social media platforms. He truly shows how he has overcome his life trials and tribulations. His true tenacity and drive are to be admired and influential. Omar has established himself as a staple, bearded man with a big heart within the artistic world. He has been the city of Boston’s staple for how to make something out of nothing.

Fashion is, Mr. Parkman’s calling whether it be him in his fancy suits or in chic casual outfits. He is the perfect intertwine of high fashion mixed with urban wear. I would say, his specialty is suits. No one can touch this man when he is in a suit. Listen, SuitSupply hired a winner and he will sell
the heck out of a suit. Women, do not worry, they have a lady’s section, YAY! Rihanna shops there as well. I am always intrigued and anticipating what creative vision he will come up with next. However, I am always staying tuned!

I fell in love with Darion when I first saw his 2019 Coachella outfit vibes. I love his petite body type; it makes for great clothing versatility. In addition, he plays into the minimalist looks while maintaining an edge. He steps out of the average dresser’s comfort zone. You can catch him in a cowboy hat versus him in a suit with Off-White SB Dunks. His creativity is out of this world and there is nothing like it.

He is super unique to the industry and never fails to amaze his viewers. Aesthetically, his photoshoots are always interesting and authentically him. As a super fan myself of his work, working with him would be so dope. He literally embraces every part of himself and conveys it beautifully through the camera lens. Everyone starts from somewhere and Darion has only just
begun.
